Your next evolution

Step into your next season as a teacher, leader and healer.

Deepen your practice. Refine your voice. Learn to teach from the inside out.

The DDY 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is an in-person program in Atlanta for teachers and dedicated practitioners who are ready for more: philosophy, energetics, ethics, leadership and the craft of meaningful, embodied teaching. The whole training is built on the chakra system, one energy center at a time, so what you learn on the mat moves into how you live and lead.

What this training is

An invitation to slow down and study yoga as a living practice.

Your 200 gave you the foundation. The 300 is where you go deep: mythology, ethics, subtle anatomy, ritual, leadership and real-world teaching skills, taught in community over ten weekends.

Confidence in how and why you teach

Every cue, sequence and theme has a reason behind it, and you'll know what it is.

A clearer teaching voice

Find your own point of view and the language to share it.

Five certifications

Yin, Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Trauma-Informed teaching and Pranayama, woven through the year.

Tools to lead beyond class

Design and lead workshops, series and longer-form offerings.

Full-spectrum asana. Decolonized teaching that honors yoga's South Asian roots. Depth, fire and true leadership.

The journey

Ten weekends, rooted in the chakras.

Each weekend is anchored in one energy center, so your study builds layer by layer, from the ground you stand on to the crown.

June

Trauma-Informed Teaching

Learn the practice that makes every room safer.

You'll explore how stress and trauma live in the nervous system, the window of tolerance, and the yogic roots of ahimsa, then learn language, cueing and choice-based teaching that lets every student feel safe, seen and in charge of their own experience.

Grounded · Compassionate · Empowering

August

Teaching Pranayama

Learn the practice that moves life force.

You'll explore the five prana vayus, the nadis that carry energy through the subtle body, and the classical roots of breathwork, then learn to teach techniques that calm, energize and clear the mind with skill and safety.

Simple · Ancient · Powerful

September

Yin Yoga

Learn the practice that teaches stillness.

Quiet · Deep · Transformative

November

December

I'll be with you from opening circle to graduation, alongside our support team and faculty, and I'm here for your questions between weekends too.

I've been teaching trainings since 2010 and have taught on six continents. My path includes two decades of vinyasa, with teachers like Bryan Kest, Shiva Rea and Seane Corn; Yin with Bernie Clark and Sarah Powers; Yoga Nidra with Richard Miller; and an Ayurvedic certification. I'm writing a book on the chakras and social justice, and this training is where all of it comes together.

The DDY training path

What's the difference between our yoga teacher trainings?

How the 220, the Reboot, the 300 and the 500+ fit together, and where to start.

Your path

Three ways in. One lifelong practice.

Start at the root, return when you're ready, and go as deep as you want.

The Reboot · 220 Hour Refresher

You trained online, it's been a while since your 200, or you're ready to truly learn to teach.

  3. YOU ARE HERESTEP 3

The 220 and the 300 together, at one price, for the full journey.

220 + 300 hours

How the path works

  1. 1

Everyone starts with a 200.No experience or prior training needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to practice.

  2. 2

A 200 opens the door to the 300.Ours or another school's. If you have a 200, you're welcome in the 300.

  3. 3

Feel like something's missing? Reboot first. If you trained online, it's been a while, or you haven't taught yet, start with the Reboot. Pair it with the 300 and save.

  4. 4

Or commit to the 500+ from day one.No experience needed here either. You sign up for both and move straight through.

Think of it like school. The 220 is your undergraduate degree. The 300 is your graduate degree. The 500+ is enrolling in both at once.

Every step earns a Dancing Dogs Yoga certificate. Keep learning: your students feel it.
