This interactive workshop covers foundational concepts of anti-oppressive practice including accessibility, power and intersectionality. The session will include:

  • Fundamental terms related to anti-oppressive practice

  • The 4 dimensions of accessibility

  • Intersectional program design exercise:
Work in pairs to create an accessible yoga/pilates class or workshop. The offering must be financially, culturally, physically and gender & 2SLGBTQ+ accessible.

Participants will have 10 mins to present the information to their peers in any way that they'd like - PowerPoint/Google/Canva presentation or just verbally share. After their presentations they will have a brief Q&A with their peers.
