Thai Bodywork Partner Workshop

Connect, have fun, and feel awesome doing Thai Yoga Bodywork in this hands on, guided workshop experience.

Inspired by Thai Massage, Thai Bodywork releases tension, increases flexibility, & promotes ease in the body, mind, & spirit. We will do assisted stretches, compression, and pressure point work while either lying on a yoga mat or seated on a bolster. Yoga experience is not necessary, nor is “being flexible”. We are all capable of giving and receiving healing touch, and practicing loving kindness, which is THE most important part of this work.

Jenn will guide you step by step through several Thai Bodywork techniques in seated and supine positions. You will spend time kneeling and squatting - please reach out if you are concerned about these shapes hindering your participation. If you are pregnant, have an injury or a situation that may need additional options, let us know ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly.

Props are available but feel free to bring your own pillows/ bolsters and blankets. Dress comfortably in clothing that you can easily move in. Layers are recommended as you will build heat when giving the work and will drop when receiving it.

NOTE: Each person should register individually. You do not need to register with partner to participate in this workshop. If you register individually, will be paired with another solo student.

Pricing: $35 members / $50 non-members

Jenn Cook has been certified in Thai Bodywork since 2013 and has completed numerous trainings with Michael Sitzer, William Hufschmidt, and studied with Pichest and Aon Boonthumme in Chiang Mai.
