“After Stefanie’s workshop, I feel inspired, empowered, and equipped to begin a self-practice. The workshop demystified self-practice, making it welcoming and approachable.”
You want to practice at home. Then you unroll your mat and feel lost + not sure where to start.
Most of us were taught how to follow a yoga class, but never how to create a practice of our own.
In this 3-hour experiential workshop, you'll learn a simple framework for building a self-guided practice that works for your body, your needs, and the time you actually have. You'll leave with a handout, a sequence you can practice the very next morning, and tools to begin creating practices of your own.
And we'll clear up two myths right away: You don't need an hour. Even five minutes practiced consistently can be meaningful. And you don't need complicated sequences. Simplicity wins when you have a framework.
What we'll do
Through breathwork, somatic movement, and a simple asana sequence learned through repetition, you'll experience the shift from following a teacher to listening to your own breath, body, and rhythm. As guidance gradually falls away, you'll explore what it means to practice with greater self-awareness and trust.
Open to all bodies and abilities; some yoga experience is recommended. If you attended Embody Your Practice at Dirty South Yoga Fest, this workshop takes the experience much deeper. If you didn't, you're just as welcome.
