Restorative Yoga Teacher Training


Join Lisa Rolf for a 20 hour restorative yoga teacher training intended to facilitate the art of rest. Learn to teach a restorative yoga class and gain the tools understanding, and concepts needed to hold space, create a safe environment  and teach a deep, restorative, relaxing restorative yoga class.

Rooted in stillness, deep rest, and gentle support, restorative yoga invites us to pause, unwind, and cultivate mindful presence.

Together we'll explore

  • The history and evolution of restorative yoga

  • The philosophy and science behind rest and the nervous system

  • Key foundational poses and prop setups

  • Safe and effective class structure and sequencing

  • The subtle art of holding space, breathwork, and guided meditation in restorative settings

Through hands-on practice, thoughtful discussion, and a practical teaching assessment, you'll gain the tools and confidence to create safe, nourishing restorative yoga classes for diverse student needs.

In person sessions at DDY
Saturday 9/27 noon-5pm
Sunday 9/28 noon-5:30pm. (includes a 1.5 hour restorative yoga practice)

Two followup zoom sessions
Wednesday 10/8 7-8:30pm
Tuesday 10/28 7-8:30pm 

+ teach one restorative yoga class for certification
