Join us for a deeply nourishing evening of ritual, music, and connection as we gather to open the heart through ceremonial cacao, devotion, and sacred sound.
Guided by Shelley Carroll and Shonali Banerjee, this experience blends plant medicine, storytelling, chanting, meditation, and community into a soulful, accessible ceremony designed to help you soften, release, and reconnect.
Shelley brings the ritual — working with ceremonial cacao as a gentle heart medicine, alongside intentional practices that invite reflection, emotional openness, and presence. Shonali brings a lifetime of experience in chanting and singing, offering a warm, grounded introduction to bhakti practices that are welcoming to all voices — no prior chanting experience needed.
Together, they create a space that is devotional without being dogmatic, sacred without being intimidating. Through shared ritual, call-and-response chanting, meditation, and guided journaling, you’ll explore themes of love, devotion, vulnerability, and what it means to stay open in a complex world.
This is not a performance. It is a practice of listening, feeling, and remembering.
What to expect:
Ceremonial cacao + guided ritual
Bhakti teachings & mythic storytelling
Call-and-response chanting (accessible to all)
Meditation and reflective journaling
A supportive, intentional community space
Why cacao + bhakti?
The heart is where emotion, connection, and meaning converge. Cacao gently supports openness and clarity, while bhakti practices invite
devotion, humility, and love — reminding us that healing and connection are collective experiences.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, brighter, and more connected — to yourself, to others, and to the quieter wisdom of the heart.
Open to all — no experience necessary
Come as you are; all voices welcome.
