The myths inside the asana you already know.
The warriors of yoga were never just poses. Virabhadra arrived in the world out of grief — Shiva's grief, transmuted into form. Hanuman leapt across an ocean for love. And the tale of the faithful dog gave one of the most recognized asanas its name.
Every shape we step into has a story underneath it. Most of us were never told them.
Join Shelley for an evening practice that braids myth and movement into something closer to ceremony — a slow, deliberate vinyasa rooted in the Sacral chakra (Svadhisthana, the seat of creativity, flow, and feeling), threaded through with the stories that have been holding the practice up the whole time. Expect storytelling. Expect breath. Expect to leave with the practice you thought you knew feeling new.
