Rooms:
The Tree House Cabins are spread across a beautiful valley that is safely tucked away in the heart of the tropical Caribbean jungle. The cabins are connected by various rope bridges and jungle paths that are all designed to emphasize and enhance an intimate connection with nature and separation from the modern world. The valley is breezy and virtually mosquito free which allows our guests to be able to comfortably enjoy the open-air design. Dorm rooms have either a shared queen or bunk beds. Each room offers a queen size bed for two people to share. Single rooms available for an additional $1500.00.
What does tuition include?
Your tuition includes our world famous 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, digital manual, yoga and workshops, as well as room and board at the Dominican Treehouse Village. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style and feature chicken, beef, and vegetarian dishes that rotate daily throughout the week. Please indicate any special dietary needs as they can be accommodated with advanced notice, please indicate at acceptance.
Price does NOT include airfare, transfers, alcohol, tips or private purchases.
Additional reading materials are required for full participation in the course and are not included in costs. You will be provided a reading list upon acceptance.
DDY has a strict attendance policy and attendance is required at all Teacher Training sessions. For every 1-4 hours missed you will need to schedule a one hour private, at a rate of $150. For every 4-8 hours missed, you will need to schedule a 2 hour private, at a rate of $250. We're happy to work with you on this to ensure that you can get all of the information that is missed. The maximum amount of days missed can be no more than 2 days. No refunds are available in case of chronic absences.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
A full refund (less application fee) will be issued if cancellation occurs with 7 days of application. After 7 days, only program credit will be issued. You can use credit towards future trainings or travel.
Participants in this teacher training must:
be free of major injuries going into the program (the property requires being able to climb stairs!)
attend 100% of every session
be coachable
have a radical commitment to personal growth
